The Shape of the Program

How Your Training Unfolds

A full curriculum that takes you from your first foundational skills to real client care — and to graduation ready for an adaptable career.

Made for You Massage School is designed as a complete journey. Rather than teaching subjects in isolation, the program weaves anatomical reasoning through everything, so you are always asking why a technique works, what it affects, and what it connects to. Hands-on practice begins early and continues straight through to graduation.

The numbers below reflect the program as currently designed. Exact schedules, start dates, and module sequencing will be confirmed as the school completes its approval process — see Admissions for the latest.

The Journey

A Curriculum That Builds

The program is organized into a series of modules, each one carrying you further. Anatomy and physiology are woven throughout — not isolated at the start — and each new modality is added to a growing toolkit. The outline below shows the intended progression; details are being finalized.

Foundations

Beginning the Work

Foundational massage skill, body mechanics, and the first layers of anatomy and physiology — the steady root system everything else grows from.

Clinical Skill

Thinking Like a Practitioner

Clinical massage, assessment, and an introduction to pathology, with anatomical reasoning deepening alongside hands-on technique.

Depth & Range

Expanding the Toolkit

Additional modalities and bodywork approaches, learned deeply enough to be blended thoughtfully based on what each client needs.

Integration

Bringing It Together

Advanced and specialty work, professional development, and the ownership thinking that turns a skilled student into a resilient owner of their career.

Full module-by-module and course-by-course detail is being finalized — join the interest list to receive it first.

What You'll Study

Areas of Study

Across the program, your learning spans six connected areas. Each one reinforces the others — anatomy informs technique, technique informs assessment, and ownership thinking carries through all of it.

i.

Anatomy & Physiology

A deep, working understanding of the body's systems and how they interconnect — woven through every course so you find root causes rather than chasing symptoms.

ii.

Massage & Bodywork Modalities

A genuine toolkit built across multiple modalities — learned deeply enough to be competent, with the real skill being knowing when and how to blend them for each client.

iii.

Clinical Assessment & Pathology

Reading what the body needs, understanding common conditions, and adapting your work safely and effectively to the person on your table today.

iv.

Professional Development

The business fundamentals, ethics, and ownership thinking that turn a skilled practitioner into a resilient owner of an adaptable, lasting career.

v.

Specialty & Integrative Bodywork

Focused study in additional approaches that broaden your range and let you meet a wider variety of client needs with confidence.

vi.

Supervised Clinic Practicum

Real client work under instructor mentorship — building hands-on skill, clinical judgment, and a professional reputation before you ever graduate.

Real Experience

Learning in the Clinic

Hands-on practice is not saved for the end. Partway through the program, students begin working with real clients from the community in a supervised clinic setting — making real assessments and practicing the adaptive clinical thinking the program teaches.

Instructors coach students through clinical decision-making, not just technique correction, so classroom learning and client care reinforce each other. By graduation, students have built genuine hands-on experience, clinical judgment, and the beginnings of a professional reputation.
